Thriller Video Paling Top
Raja Pop memang sudah tepat ditujukan pada almarhum Michael Jackson. Salah satu peninggalan penyanyi ini, video klip lagu Thriller kini dipilih sebagai video yang paling berpengaruh sepanjang sejarah.
Dalam polling yang dibuat di MySpace, lebih dari 1000 penggemar musik diminta memilih 20 video yang dipilih oleh kritikus musik dan entertainer. Menurut ABC News, bukan hanya video milik Jackson yang dipertimbangkan punya pengaruh oleh para penggemar, lagu Baby One More Time milik Britney Spears masuk daftar ini di nomor tiga. Selanjutnya video Take On Me milik A-ha.

Lagu Rahasia MJ Bocor di Internet
Kasus bocornya lagu di internet--sebelum masa perilisan--memang sudah sering kali terjadi. Dan kali ini, kasus kebocoran menimpa sang legenda musik, Michael the King of Pop.
Rekaman lagu berjudul Another Day itu bahkan sempat nongol di YouTube dalam bentuk video klip berdurasi 90 detik. Kravitz sendiri telah mengkonfirmasikan keaslian rekaman itu.
"Lagu ini direkam oleh Michael dan saya sendiri. Aku memproduksinya untuk MJ, menulis lagunya, dan aku memainkan semua instrumen di dalam track itu," ujar Kravitz dalam pernyataannya.
Namun sayangnya, seperti dikutip detikINET dari nydailynews, Rabu (6/1/2010) perwakilan Michael dan label rekaman Sony Record akhirnya menarik lagu yang sebenarnya belum siap tayang itu dari dunia maya.

Moon Walker Game Warisan Michael Jackson
Masih berkaitan dengan kematian Michael Jackson kemarin, karir penyanyi pop star yang penuh kekaguman dan sekaligus masalah skandal pelecehan seksual ini banyak diingat dalam segala hal, mulai dari music, panggung pertunjukkannya, gerakannya hingga ke game Moonwalker yang pernah trend di tahun 1990-an lalu.
Di tahun 1990-an, Jackson telah membuat pengembangan game Sega Moonwalker dengan fitur personal karakternya. Moonwalker sendiri merupakan game yang dibuat dari film yang dibuat dengan nama yang sama, memudahkan player untuk bermain sebagai Jackson, baik bergerak dengan gerakannya dan tema dansa untuk menyelamatkan anak-anak dari iblis “Mr. Big”.
Walaupun game Moonwalker ini tidak pernah sepopuler music Jackson, namun memiliki status dan menjadi awal karir Jackson dari album “Thriller” menjadi karakter yang ‘buruk’. Game Moonwalker versi arcade ini dibuat untuk Sega System 18. Sedangkan untuk versi console-nya dikembangkan untuk system Genesis, dimana fans biasanya lebih sukses memainkannya. Fans juga dapat men-download versi Genesis dan memainkannya di PC dengan emulator, namun harus tetap hati-hati dengan aturan hak ciptanya.

Populasi dunia telah meningkat dramatis luar biasa dalam satu abad terakhir dan lebih banyak orang yang hidup dalam lingkungan yang berbahaya.
Menurut para ahli badai besar dan tsunami menjadi yang paling potensial membunuh massa di masa kini daripada di masa lalu.
Meskipun tidak semua bencana tercatat, namun berikut daftar bencana terburuk dalam sejarah.
May 2008 – Angin puyuh Nargis membunuh 140 ribu orang lebih. Korban terperangkap dalam kejaran pusaran, dan tidak mampu lari lebih jauh, mengubur penduduk di lahan pertanian di Myanmar hingga tersapu bersih.
8 Oktober 2005 – Gempa berkekuatan 7,6 magnitudo di Pakistan merenggut nyawa lebih dari 40 ribu manusia. Kerusakan hebat disebabkan oleh pusat tumbukan di patahan dangkal.
26 Desember 2004 – Lautan Hindia menjadi pusat gempa berkekuatan 9,3 skala magnitudo dan memicu tsunami Sumatera di mana diperkirakan sebanyak 225 ribu orang menjadi korban. Banyak wilayah di belahan bumi lain yang juga mengalami dampak peristiwa tersebut.

Profesor Wang, peneliti Purple Mountain Observatory dari Academy of Science China mengatakan China mungkin akan menjadi saksi mata penampakan UFO lebih banyak lagi dalam dua tahun ke depan.
Setelah bertahun-tahun meneliti, Profesor Wang menemukan penampakan UFO cenderung terjadi di tahun-tahun yang berakhiran dengan angka 1, 2 atau 7.
Kemungkinan tahun 2011 dan 2012 akan menjadi tahun UFO dan untuk mengoptimalkan kesempatan, Profesor Wang merekomendasikan bulan Juli dan Agustus sebagai bulan terbaik dan melihat penampakannya setelah pukul 10 malam.
Setelah 39 tahun mempelajari UFO, Profesor Wang menyimpulkan bahwa kebanyakan laporan yang ada adalah kabar bohong. Kebanyakan obyek yang ditemukan adalah misil, satelit dan meteor.

Para ilmuwan dari Leeds University mengerahkan kapal selam robot untuk meneliti dan memindai dasar laut di dekat Turki itu. Seperti halnya di daratan, sungai di bawah laut itu memiliki saluran, anak sungai, dataran banjir, aliran deras air, dan bahkan air terjun.
Sungai yang ditemukan di dasar Laut Hitam, memiliki kedalaman 115 kaki dan lebarnya lebih dari setengah mil. Jika berada di daratan, para ilmuwan memperkirakan, perairan yang ditemukan di Laut Hitam, adalah sungai keenam terbesar di dunia, dalam hal jumlah air yang mengalir. Aliran air, yang membawa air asin dan sedimen, 350 kali lebih besar dari Sungai Thames di Inggris.
